SUBJECT:                    Unbalanced Crankshafts

CONDITION:                 The Original Crankshafts installed in Cannondale Engines were supplied un-balanced.

SOLUTION:                   Purchase Balanced Crankshafts or have existing Crankshaft balanced

WARNING:                   Un-balanced Crankshafts cause the engine to vibrate. Vibration leads to internal parts coming loose inside the motor which will result in severe engine damage.

INSTALLATION:           The Engine needs to be removed from the Chassis.  See Engine Service
                                    Manual for correct torque settings and additional assembly instructions.
